Having had driving lessons before with a different driving school I never felt confident that I could pass my test or had enough knowledge of the road to be a good driver. Then I found sarah's driving school! Sarah gave me so much confidence and made lessons really enjoyable and fun. Sarah also goes through any problem you have no matter how big or small until you feel comfortable with it. But the main thing with sarah is that she wants you to pass your test as much as you want to. I have now past my test and loving being on the road!

Sarah is an absolutely fantastic driving instructor. I had been putting off learning to drive for ages and was getting increasingly nervous but she put me totally at ease with her endless patience and good humour. Sarah was always supportive - if I made a mistake we'd talk it through calmly and I never felt I had done something stupid even when I undoubtedly had! She's excellent at explaining manoeuvres and good driving practice. Her high standards meant that the driving test really did seem simple, she had obviously prepared me really well as I passed first time! I would recommend her unreservedly and I am very grateful for all her help.

Sarah is an excellent driving instructor. She’s friendly and approachable and immediately puts you at ease as soon as you step in to the car.

She’s always encouraging, praising you when you’ve achieved something and very supportive when you are frustrated or finding things difficult and helps you stay calm and focused.

I really enjoyed my lessons with her and know that it was her warm personality and patience that gave me the confidence to drive and pass my test.

Driving lessons at first seemed like a daunting task, I'd heard of horror stories from other people's driving instructors, piggy backing, driving instructors kids in the car, the list goes on. Sarah set my mind at ease, she is actually the friendliest and the most understanding instructor/teacher I've ever come across.

Sarah's constantly pushing you and trying to get you to do things you hate doing until you do them right and get used to them. If you screw up she'll ask you what you think you did wrong so you don't make the same mistake again. If you're unsure of something she's always willing to answer questions if you don't understand.

I think the most satisfying thing was hearing "well done Gavin" when I did something right without being told to do it, I think that's when you know you're ready for your test. She's a great confidence builder as well, within a week of passing my test I drove to Battersea Park, Sidcup and Wood Green on my own.

She's very encouraging and I would recommend her to any one, and would gladly shove her name and number down any one's throat looking for a driving instructor because she is that good. Passed me first time she did!

I was returning to driving lessons after a long break of 15 years and 3 failed tests. Sarah was fantastic! She instantly helped my wobbly self confidence. She is kind, humorous and above all a wonderfully skilled instructor. I successfully passed on my first attempt with her as my instructor.

Having had other driving instructors its clear to me that Sarah is one of the best around. I recommend her to friends all the time.

When I first started driving i was very nervous, However after the first lesson with Sarah she made me feel relaxed and confident. She was professional in her methods but friendly and down to earth at the same time.

I learnt to drive with Sarah about six months ago. I really loved my driving lessons and could not wait for my lessons each week. Sometimes the lessons could be very challenging and hard work, but Sarah would help me and encourage me as much as she possibly could and i would get there in the end and the sense of achievement is immense.

Sarah also conducted a mock test which i found helpful and prepared me for my practical test, which i passed first time.

I then opted to do my pass plus with Sarah, which i then went on to learn how to deal with motorways, dual carriageways, the countryside ect. this has helped me as i can now deal with lots of different roads and situations.

I hadn't driven for 17 years following a car accident, so when I decided to start again I wanted a driver instructor who would be patient with me, respect me, loan me confidence, offer me challenges rather than protect me and not be fazed by my anxieties. Sarah offered me all of this, and more.

As a young woman, i felt it was very important for me to feel 100% at ease with my driving instructor, after the first lesson with Sarah i knew straight away that i felt confident and safe in her hands. the difference with Sarah is that you are not only her pupil, she generally does care for you as an individual. i had never driven before my first lesson, and after three and a half months i have now passed my driving test first time, because i was told that 'i could do it.' It makes you feel so much better when you are praised for something you did right and guided through the difficult situations you face as a beginner. i would defiantly recommend anyone to use 'sarah's driving school'. i had a really great time, and looked forward to every driving lesson i had. it'll feel weird now driving without sarah! thanks for everything!

When I first got in Sarah's car I didn't even know how to start the car up? This didn't phase her & she took me through it step by step. I found her method of teaching to be clear & consistent, if I didn't understand something then she would take me through it again & if I still didn't understand then she would get me to look at it from a different angle until I did, which to me is the sign of a good teacher.
We went out at different times of the day & various weather conditions, which has helped me to feel confident enough to drive at anytime day or night. When I had moments of stress or doubt she would calm me, talk me through the problem & then get me to go through the manoeuvre again. Nearer my test we would go over & over any problem manoeuvres until I had perfected them which obviously worked as I managed to pass my test without any minors!!!!! I also believe having at least a one hour lesson every night for a week prior to my test helped dramatically as it gave me the opportunity to build confidence, work out problem areas & work out ways of dealing with them.

Sarah fitted the bill absolutely – an expert teacher, patient, understanding and great company, too! In my moments of self-doubt, she instilled a mantra of positive thinking which ultimately was the key to my first-time pass. She always believed I could do it, even when I didn’t!

When I started my lessons with Sarah I was really unconfident, having failed two tests with a previous instructor. She was fantastic and made me believe that I could pass and that I was a good driver. Also, she taught me all the things that my previous instructor should have told me about and was always aware of what we have covered plus what I needed to work on. I passed on my test with her, something that before I didnt think I could every achieve. I would recommend her to anyone.

When I received driving lessons for my 18th birthday I wouldn't exactly say I was thrilled. In fact i was down right terrified. For starters I didn't know the first thing about how to drive a manual car. This coupled with being a sufferer of M.E. left me a bundle of nerves.

And then I met Sarah! I usually find meeting people for the first time intimidating but Sarah put me straight at ease. She was very reassuring; gently pointing out my mistakes and crediting me when I got things right. But what I most commend her for is the complete patience she had when I repeatedly forgot my checks! It was important for me to be able to learn at my own pace while also having the support of a teacher who encouraged me to make the next step and made sure my enthusiasm never waned.

I passed my driving test first time and it is all thanks to Sarah. Being able to drive has given me a new lease on life and made a dramatic difference in the way I deal with the disabilities of M.E. I cannot express how thankful I am to Sarah and her wonderful teaching.

The whole experience was brilliant. I was attempting to pass first time and do it all in a short amount of time. So sarah pushed me to get the basics very quickly and from there gave me the confidence to pursue my goals. Sarah was very committed to getting the best out of me and was never putting me under pressure when i felt it. Even if it was a case of pulling over and having a breather to gain my composhure agian. Having put driving off until I was about to turn 30 I was a bit anxious about how I would get on and was not really looking forward to learning to drive. However from my first lesson with Sarah I really felt encouarged and like I had achieved something. Very soon I actually enjoyed going out driving for my lessons. Learning how to drive was one of the scariest experiences of my life; however with Sarah’s encouragement and perseverance I became determined to drive and it wasn’t scary anymore but fun, and passed first time! Sarah understands that learning how to drive also means building up one’s confidence to get out on the road and prepare to mentally deal with other drivers, as at first I was an extremely timid driver but Sarah taught me to be more assertive.
